Victor Mercado, as a Los Angeles based performing artist, he is very excited to be here in Phoenix, AZ continuing his professional development in ASU’s Master’s program for Opera & Musical Theatre. Some of his favorite stage experiences include the role of Fenton in The Merry Wives of Windsor & featured roles in Jekyll & Hyde, Nine, & The Magic Flute. Other exciting experiences include performances at the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall & ASU Gammage including Bernstein’s Mass, Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses, & John Williams: Maestro of the Movies. In between productions, as an aspiring linguist, he studies many world languages & is happy to share his love of languages, music, & world cultures with others in & outside of the performance space.
